Hana's first snow... sort of.

We were excited that it was finally going to snow a little, but it sort of missed town and then pretty much all melted immediately when the sun came up.  Oh well.  Here is a picture of that... and another cute one from today!

It was such a beautiful day out today, we decided to go for a (short) walk in the neighborhood!  :-)

First doctor's appointment!

Well, we just went in for a weight check and a mini-check up ("big" appt is next week Monday).  Knute was more nervous than Hana, for sure!  (I could barely keep up as he was "outta there" afterwards!) Everything was fine (her weight, hips, overall health, etc...)  She was tired afterwards though!  :-)  (We did run a few other errands too!) 

She's eating a LOT and sleeping well (she is her father's daughter, after all!) so we are happy about that!

HOME!

Hana got to come home today!!  She seemed to like the car ride (we even stopped at the store to drop off my prescription). I took her up to her room and sat down in her rocker/glider and she fell asleep within a minute or two!  I think she likes her room!

The dogs sniffed her and Sadie seems VERY protective of her already.  She didn't even leave my room (where we are now resting - she's in her bassinet!) when Knute went to get food.  Lucy, of course wanted to go for a car ride.... like always!  :-)  Hana seems comfortable in her bassinet too.

We are all so happy to be home now!  Time for another nap, I think!

Knute & Kristie are PARENTS!

Well, it took a while, but we finally have our little girl!  She came this evening at 6:39 pm (by Knute's watch, the hospital time is 6:43 pm), weighs 7 lbs 9 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long.  We are beyond happy and in love, but very, very tired.  (Knute says I pushed for 4 hours or so, but she ended up coming via c-section.)  Here are a few pictures for now... I'm about to pass out!  :-)  More tomorrow!
