Memorial Day Weekend!

Well, it started out with a bang! We had dinner at Tony & Jen's new house last night and I broke my toe! Ouch!

Today, we celebrated Eliana, Scarlett, Irene, Joe and Tim's birthday with dinner (and cupcakes!) at Kim & Tim's house! It was a great evening!

Sunday! We got a (2nd) new (used) Trek Trike for Hana!

Gotta love a neighbor who sells every kind of bike there is!!!

New GAS cooktop! We are so glad that the electric one is out!

Food already tastes better! :-)

Home, sweet Denver!

Hana has discovered "toe lint" and does not care for it and is removing it! :-)

She refuses to take a bath, but will stand in the 55 degree sprinkler water on a 65 degree day.

Hana did actually have a warm bath after this and for the first time EVER played!

She cried only AFTER I took her out! We were so excited!

Last weekend we went to Decorah for Kelsey's graduation from Luther College. It was quite the trip and Hana did NOT like spending so much time in the car. However, once we got there, we all had a wonderful time and it was nice to see another niece graduate from college this month!

Spike & Julie in Denver

Spike and Julie are visiting Denver from Chicago and last night a group of us went out to dinner at Zokas! A fun time was had by all! Julie spent the night last night and sadly flies out this morning (Knute already dropped her at the airport) but Spikes stays until Thursday night. Knute and he hope to go fishing maybe on Wednesday!

And fun was had by all!

Monday! Funday! Leif's birthday!

Today I grouted all the tiles in the kitchen. It was my first time "grouting" anything ever and I have to say I'm a bit proud of myself (and slightly sore!!!!) Then tonight, we had a big family dinner over at our house, although (beside 1 picture of Leif) I forgot to bring out the camera.... but we were busy and having a nice time with everyone. These things happen. Here are tile pics, etc...
