After Knute explained to her what it was, she was so excited that she promptly stomped on the box, jumping over for a hug! Hope it's not broken!!
Then we were off to Chuck E Cheese's again (her choice!) for her birthday party with her friends. She has a wonderful time and really crashed our when we got home.
Fun times were had by all 14 kids!
Sadly, that was a good thing, because when we got home, we were shocked to learn that our good friend (one of Knute's besties!) passed away that morning. Robert Gene ("Spike") Walker was only 49 years old. We are all devastated.
I took this picture of Spike in October of 2010 and Anne & Greg Jones wedding in Keystone, Colorado. He posted it as his facebook profile picture again the day before he died.
