All I could say yesterday was "wow!" Knute gave me a new MacBook Pro computer for Mother's Day! I was stunned and overwhelmed! :-) Then I spent quite a while trying to figure out how to use it, as it's quite different from my old PC laptop.
We had Tony & Jen over for brunch, which was fun and we made Eggs Benedict. Then, once I finally figured out how to sign up for "Words with Friends" we all played for a couple of hours. Realizing when they were leaving how silly that was (to all be in the same room doing that!) and thought that we should have played an actual board game or something! Next time!
We were fairly busy all weekend starting Friday night with preparing a breakfast bake for Saturday morning and crock pot cooking my first brisket all day Saturday for dinner that night (with a haircut and errands on Saturday afternoon), yet somehow managed to get really "nothing" done around the house. Finally, a relaxing time on Sunday! We even watched several hours worth of funny shows that we recorded yesterday. Overall, it was a great weekend!
