Jump-A-Roo

We've been super busy, but here is a picture of Hana in her new bouncy Jump-A-Roo and our house with the tree in bloom.  We still have to repair what the plumbers did last fall and do quite a bit of other landscaping..... we'll see if we get to it!?!~   :-)

Hana rolled over back to front for the first time yesterday morning, so that was neat.  She continues to be quite vocal... often expressing her displeasure with things!  :-)  She's finally used to sleeping in her crib (which is still in our room) but her naps are not consistent.  They have been "off" ever since the hockey game last week.  I think we'll try to go to bed extra early tonight to see if that helps!  Fingers crossed.

Hana's 1st Hockey Game!

We went to see the Av's (playoff) game tonight against the Sharks. Too bad we lost on O.T.  And we are up way too late tonight.  I'm sure we'll all be bumming tomorrow...... Oh well!  Life is GOOD!!  :-)

Hana rolled over - THREE times!!!

We were doing "tummy time" this afternoon and she rolled over to her back!  Twice to the left (pushing off with her right arm and leg) and then - much to our surprise once to the right!!  After that I went to get the camera to make a video, but she seemed tired and didn't roll again!  I just took a picture instead.  I am just SO happy that I was home and with her when she did it!!  Amazing!  :-)

Angie's shower and Garner's for dinner

This morning Hana and I got dressed up and went to Angie's wedding shower! 

Then Knute made it to Jk's lacrosee game while we "rested" for a bit (wishing for a NAP!) and then Rob & Ann came over for dinner with Kieran and baby Declan!   It was a good day!

We are hoping for a good night's sleep tonight!  It's Hana's 3rd night in her crib.  The first night was great (she slept from 9 pm until 6:30 am) but last night she woke up evey time I put her in it... until about 11:45 pm.  At least she napped well today.  Off to bed now! :-)

In these two, she actually IS "talking", but her afternoon sounds are less interesting/varied than the morning ones.  At least you get to hear her voice though!  :-)  Btw, the top one (of these two) is my favorite because I think she says "hi" to me at the end when she sees me! :-)

Tummy time!

We started putting Hana on her tummy more just about a week ago (she hated it at first!) and amazing girl that she is - she can already hold her head up!  She seems to really like being able to look around now and is now trying to roll front to back (along with trying to do back to front.)  It seems like she might be getting close!!  :-)  Exciting times for the Hanabear!

3 months - ALREADY!

So Hana has slept through the night (9:30 pm to between 6 and 7:30 am) for the past week and a half!  Yippee!!  Her naps are not consistent now (although that may be because Knute has been busy and they've had to run more errands than usual lately?!?) and she keep shoving her hands in her mouth...  We wonder if she might be getting ready for teeth?!?  She continues to talk (often yelling!) and is really finding her voice! I keep waiting her her to just start a "real" conversation! In due time.........

Hana's first Easter!

Today we dresssed Hana in her Easter dress (thanks for the loan, Irene!) and drove to Colorado Springs for church with the family.  (The Balk's church is Trinity Lutheran - also a lovely church that we like!)  After a nice service (Hana seemed to like Trinity better than Bethany!) we went to the Balk's for the afternoon!  Hana got to meet more of her cousin's and was quite the hit!  We had another big family meal (while Hana napped!) and then there was the big Easter egg hunt!  Hopefully Miss Hana will be able to participate next year!  :-)  Her daddy says he's going to help her (after he helps hide them.)  Somehow that doesn't seem fair to everyone else!

We got ready for Easter today... or least we made the eggs!  :-)  I think Knute might have been more excited than Hana!?!  Egg salad for dinner!

Hana, the Cute Sleeper!

Hana slept 7-10 hours each night this week!  Yippee skippy!!  We hope this continues!!!  :-)  I love how she always sleeps with her arms up like this.
