Happiest 5k Weekend

We had another busy weekend at the Nelson house!  Friday night, Jessica and Caden came over (with dinner!) to spend the night.  Saturday morning, we were up by 6 and out the door by 7 for the Color Run 5k!  They say it's the "Happiest Run on the planet" and we agreed that it was a fun way to spend a Satruday morning! 

 

 

Then, Saturday night, we had (some of) the Balk's over for the night.  We all went to dinner (along with Britta and Allen) and in the morning Karla and Maren (who came in from MN for teh weekend) did the Tri ForThe Cure Sunday morning at Cherry Creek State Park.  They had excelelnt times (Karla was 1:39 amd Maren 1:53, I think) and a fun time too!  JK went to cheer them on, while John left for a business trip.   After that, we had brunch at Linger before Karla and Maren left for the airport.  Great weekend!
