New Bathing Suit and big party

Hana's new bathing suit arrive for our big trip to see her grandparents!  It's cool because it has "built in" spf 50. 

Also, we had our open house yesterday.  It was fun to see everyone, especially my friends from Michigan (one who was a total surprise!) but as usual, I wish I had had more time to talk to everyone!  I also forgot to take pictures for most of it!  :-p

Food, etc...

I'm sitting here waiting for my cake and brownie/cupcakes to cool (for our big party tomorrow) so I thought I'd post a few pics from this week.

Hana loves our new dishwasher (it's shiny!) and we started to give her snacks to feed herself for the first time.  They are called "yogurt melts" and they do kind of dissolve in your mouth (we always "taste test" everything for "quality assurance" as we like to say!)  :-) She's getting good a "gumming" them, so pretty soon we can add other baby snacks to the menu!  :-)

Checking Out Her Playroom!

Well, it's Sunday-Funday again and I decided that it about time that Hana got to finally check out her play room!  Especially before it's taken over by 19+ kids next weekend at our party!  She really seemed to enjoy her "Junior Grand" piano and we think she has a musical future ahead of her... and excellent form!  :-)

She's also an "old pro" at pulling herself up now!  :-)

Broncos and Anniversary Party!

We went to Hana's very first Bronco's football game!  It was a pre-seasons game against Detroit, which sadly we lost 20 to 25.  However, Hana really seemed to enjoy it after the initial "big crowd cheer" when she had a look for terror on her face until she saw us happy and clapping.  After that, she actually seemed to be trying to cheer, as she screamed when the crowd did.  She also waved by many of the folks walking by and they seemed to like that!  :-) 

We actually left the game early because we needed to go back to the RooBar for the 2 year Anniversary Party, which was a big success.  We had fun saying "hi" to old friends we had not seem for a long time!  Hana was quit tired though and I forgot to take pics...  :-)

Sippy Cup!

We gave Hana a sippy cup for the first time tonight!  She REALLY liked it and got the hang of it immediately!  Then she wanted to try the cup with the built-in straw again (we gave this to her the other day) and this one still proved a bit difficult!  Soon though, no doubt!  Happy Friday, folks!

Hana stands!

Knute just called me at work to tell me that Hana pulled herself up in her crib and was standing there waiting for him today after her morning nap!  No video or pics, but exciting nonetheless. 

Sorry I missed it though!  :-(

Cousin Britta is in Town!

Tonight Hana got to see two of her cousins - Sonja and Britta, who is in town from Minnesota!  We also saw Aunt Ann and Aunt Karina!  Hana ate marinara sauce, ranch dressing and french fries (although she had more health food when we got home!!)  A fun night, to be sure!  Thanks for meeting us!

UPDATE:  No more fried food (or ranch dressing) for Hana!!  She did NOT feel well last night and was up for a very long time!  First time she was up for an extended period of time since she was two months old!  Poor baby!  :-(  And she's had the marinara before, so we don't think that was the cause! 

Two more "Firsts" for Hana!

Hana can now hold her own bottle (even one handed) and she (we) went to her first Colorado Rockies baseball game tonight.  Sadly, we lost 4-5 in the 10th inning!

We also found a cool Radio Flyer "bike" for Hana at our neighbor's garage sale.  She really seems to like that!
