Easter 2013

This year we had a special Easter with my mom visiting Colorado for a long (2 and a half week) vacation.  Last week, she enjoyed time and fellowship at Bethany Lutheran Church, the Botanic Gardens, her favorite store (Pismo) in Cherry Creek and even a massage.  She also enjoyed the Easter service this morning at Bethany.

Hana had fund today with two Easter egg hunts (real eggs in the morning) and later in the yard with her cousins Erika and JK.  We hosted the Balk's (minus Maren and Kelsey) and Karina and Marvin.  The other Nelson's were up in Wyoming celebrating with Eric & Angie (who recently announced they are pregnant!)  The weather was perfect and the decorations festive.  I think everyone enjoyed the meal as well!

March Trip 2013 - Grand Cayman

Amazing!  That's about all I can say now, as I am exhausted from our travels, but we had a great time at  wonderful place in our world.  The people were so nice and we had fun.  I finished my scuba certification and got to dive with Knute afterwards.  We saw many cool things (sharks, lobsters, a puffer fish, the pretty, but invasive lion fish, stingrays, conch and even an octopus!)  under the water and out!  Britta joined up to help with Hana while were were diving.  She had fun and Hana was in Heaven.  Overall, I highly recommend!
