Hana had her "Golden" birthday on the 5th! On the 3rd, we had a big party for her with just about all of her preschool classmates and many other friends. We rented out a whole movie theater and saw Rio. They went CRAZY and had a lot of fun! They watched (some of) the movie while dancing, singing, playing duck-duck-goose and using their booster seats to "slide" down the aisle. After that we had pizza and cake. I'm sure their parents were thrilled when I sent them home all crazy on sugar! But Hana had a great time. For her actual birthday, we went out to dinner at Red Lobster (her choice, of course, with the Turner's. That was fun too!!
The "big" news is that we moved mom to Colorado from Michigan. She was very unhappy with her situation there and had repeatedly asked to come to Colorado to live, so finally, with the help and support of many, we made it happen! Knute and I drove to MI to get her and while he drove back with her things, mom and I flew - first class, no less!! (Bought the tickets last minute and they were the exact same price as coach. The only coach seats available were in the emergency exit row, so I really didn't have a choice!) Aunt Gayle flew in from MN to help with the transition that first week, so that was awesome too!
