February was filled with ski weekends (Hana has lessons), sledding, games nights and parties of all sorts! We literally did not have a free day! Hana and I also had our first "girl day", which included lunch and the Cinderella Ballet. We had great seats and she really loved it!

March arrived with our ugly sweater party, Hana's 1st trip to the ER (tripped at school and cut her forehead open, requiring 4 stitches!), more birthday parties (whew!) and then our big trip to California! She missed a week of swim lessons, but was able to swim by the time we were in Cali!
We stayed in Orange County (San Clemente) and went all over the place. Monday, we went to Disneyland with Hana's aunts Angie and Lori, Uncle Mike, cousin Katie and her daughter cousin Avery, who was celebrating her 5th birthday! We had a blast! Hana is an adrenaline junkie and loves roller coasters! Space Mountain was her favorite - actually it was our favorite too! Hana also got to see Cinderella, but was super bummed to miss Ariel!

We were able to spend some time in La Jolla, where Knute spent a year as a child, the Aquarium of the Pacific (Aunt Angie, Lori and Avery joined us again!), Newport Beach and Laguna. We bought some neat art there too! Knute attempted to surf one day at San Clemente Beach. We had a really great vacation!

Then we came back for more skiing! Last weekend was a busy one! Ski lesson #5 on Saturday. She wanted to ski with us too, so we pulled her out early and did just that! We went up Union Creek lift (a high-speed quad, a first for Hana) and it took about an hour and a half to get down! We went for some ice cream and then Daddy took one more run while we went back to the condo to get changed and see her cousins. The whole other Nelson family was using the condo for the weekend, since Solveig is home for her college spring break. It was so great to get to spend a little time with them!
Yesterday was another girl day for Hana and me. We did lunch again and then went to see Disney on Ice! Cinderella was there again and Ariel was there this time too! Hana was bummed that some other princesses were not there, but then we decided that they must have stayed back at Disneyland, so the kids that are there now would get to see at least some of them. It would be sad to the kids there if there were none! :-) After that, we picked up daddy and went for frozen yogurt. It was a great day!
