YESTERDAY was Karla's birthday! We are very grateful that she (and Erika, of course) are staying at the house with me for a few days while Knute is fishing in Canada with the boys! They are taking care of Hana while I'm at work and so far are having fun. Hana is being her usual great-baby self having fun hanging out with her aunt and cousin!
The rest of the Denver crew came over last night with some amazing food (thanks Ann & Karina!) and we all ate outside, because it was a lovely evening. Then we had some cake (I keep practicing!) and ice cream and/or sherbet. I think Karla had a good birthday!
