Hana saw her first ever "real" fireworks show this year! We went to a park in Glendale on the 3rd. We were a little farther away that we might have liked, but they were not as loud and Hana had a great time! Next year we'll just bring earplugs for her (she doesn't like the loud noises!) and sit closer!
Our friends, the Nickel's stayed with us over the 4th weekend. We had a blast and did lots of fun things. We met them at Zoka's for lunch on the 4th. Then we showed them where we got married, up the street from "downtown" Pine. Saturday, we all went to John & Nicole's party and Sunday we went to a Rockies game. Fun, even though we lost!
They went to a hotel for their last two nights here, but we met up again Monday for dinner with a fun group!
Last weekend, I took Hana for her very first ride in a convertible. It was brief, but she had a super fun time. She hopes to go again.

This upcoming weekend should be fun too. The dragonboat races are happening and the Keeley girls will be spending the night. The other Keeley's will be in town too and we'll see them for dinner tomorrow. We have several other dinner's scheduled with friends to round out the month. I think we've decided not to have our (what was annual) summer party this year. Just too much other stuff going on. Maybe next year again!
