March 2012 Trip - Playa Del Carmen

Our trip to Playa started off poorly, because when we got to the airport last Sunday, we discovered (or should I say were "informed") that Knute's passport was expired!  Hana and I went without him to hold the reservation and also because we had already arranged for a pickup at the airport.  Thankfully, Denver has a passport office and Knute was able to get a new one immediately on Monday morning and took the same (time) flight Monday morning and was there by Monday afternoon!  What a start!

Tuesday highlights:

Thursday:

Up EARLY and back to our favorite activity - The Pool!

Also happens to be the 17th and St. Patty's Day!

She finally "discovered" the sand on the last day and spent a lot of time "cooking".

I asked her what she was making (cookies, pasta, etc.) and she said "sand".

"Cooking sand!"

Vacations are tiring!
