1st Mother's Day!

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day... as a mother!  It is an amazing thing, to have a child.  I feel so lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful, sweet, smiling baby.  She lights up our lives and makes us laugh!  We went to Perkins for brunch, because it's quick and easy, which was a good thing, because Hana was fussy and ready to go after about 15-20 minutes and we were outta there in about 25 (total!)  Love that place... and their eggs Benedict isn't bad either! :-)

We enjoyed the afternoon and even got around to planting some tulip bulbs.  The weather was in the high 70's and it was just perfect.  For dinner, it was "steak Sunday".. with our usual sauteed mushrooms, bearnaise sauce, etc....  Yummy treat, as always! 

Also, Hana was able to stick her foot in her mouth for the first time ever today.  She seems to be enjoying chewing on her feet!  I guess we'll have to make sure there is never any lint in between her toes now! :-)  And she finally fits into her (picked out by daddy!) camo onsie!  I think I know what she'll be wearing most warm days in the near future!!  :-)
