So, I am on a "quest" to make the "perfect" cake for Hana's birthday (yes, nearly 7 months from now... so it "should" be perfect!!) I finally looked up how to do it on line last month (cutting off the top "rounded" side, putting the two "tops" in the middle, so the top is flat; putting on thin coat of frosting, refrigerate and then put on the "final" coat... etc..) and I just tried it tonight (it's lemon). While it's "better" than all my others (thankfully, no photos) it's still not that great looking. I decided to document my progress. Since this one isn't very good (looking - tastes great though!) it should not be difficult to do better next time! :-)
I think I need way more frosting....
